About- Five Nights at Freddy’s 4 for Android

Scott Cawthon is bringing us the prequel to his massive franchise, Five Night’s at Freddy’s 4. Come take a sneak peek at its characters’ first steps into their lives. The fourth installment in the Five Nights at Freddy’s series, Five Nights at Freddy’s 4 is an indie survival horror video game developed and published by Scott Cawthon. The game takes place in a bedroom, where the player must evade nightmarish versions of the animatronics from the first and second games.

The game, announced in mid-2015 as Five Nights at Freddy’s: The Final Chapter, was originally planned for release on October 31, 2015. Its release date was later adjusted to August 8 when it was unexpectedly made available on Steam. In 2015, it was released for Android devices on July 25, and for iOS devices on August 3. A port for the Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One was released on November 29, 2019.

Upon its 2012 release, the game received both rave reviews and scathing criticism; many critics praised the game’s unsettling atmosphere, while others were divided over its unusual mechanics. This game has been dubbed the “scariest in the series” for its lack of spoken dialogue. The game was followed by Five Nights at Freddy’s: Sister Location, which was released on October 7, 2016.

Five Nights at Freddy’s 4- Gameplay

Instead of a security office, Five Nights at Freddy’s 4 takes place in a child’s bedroom. The player’s only defense against the game’s hostile animatronics is the unlimited power that a flashlight affords. The Nightmare animatronics resemble the four animatronics from the first game (Freddy Fazbear, Bonnie, Chica and Foxy) , but are larger, more monstrous in appearance, and are given the general title “Nightmare Animatronics”. The game is set in a bedroom where the player must check four positions: a set of doors on each side of the bedroom, a closet in front of the player, and a bed behind them.

The gameplay heavily utilizes auditory cues and sounds in order to strengthen the experience of being there. The player must make sure that nothing moves in the bedroom by checking for Nightmare Bonnie and Chica, listening for their breathing and closing the doors if anything is heard. Closets must also be monitored and closed when Nightmare Foxy appears to avoid unanticipated attacks. The bed behind the player can accumulate small animatronics resembling Nightmare Freddy, who will summon Nightmare Freddy if not scared away with the flashlight. If the player fails to check any of these entrances, they will be jumped on by a monster, causing a game over.

After beating each night, the player may play a timed minigame called “Fun with Plushtrap,” in which the protagonist bonding with a plush edition of Springtrap, the central animatronic from Five Nights at Freddy’s 3.

After beating each night, the player can play a timed minigame called “Fun with Plushtrap” in which a plush version of Springtrap, the main character of Five Nights at Freddy’s 3, must be lured to the top of an “X” on the ground within 2 minutes. You’ll begin the next night of gameplay at 2:00 a.m., 1:00 a.m. in challenge modes. On the main nights, the clock advances to 2:00 a.m. (1:00 a.m. in challenge mode) at the start of every night, and you can’t continue playing once you reach 5:00 a.m., 4:00 a.m. in challenge modes, except on certain special nights. Note that if you get a game over, your bonus time will be lost for subsequent plays of that level.

Like previous games, the main part of the gameplay of Five Nights at Freddy’s 3 occurs over five progressively-difficult nights with unlockable extra levels. The four main antagonists are Freddy Fazbear, Bonnie, Chica, and Foxy, while a fifth animatronic called Nightmare Fredbear becomes the sole antagonist on the fifth night.

Completing Nights 1-5 unlocks a star. Completing the next night (Night 6) unlocks Nightmare Fredbear and an additional sixth night where the four main animatronics will stalk the player until it takes over at 4 a.m. Completing Nights 5 and 6 unlocks a new star, Night 7 (“Nightmare”), in which the animatronics are aggressive and Nightmare Fredbear is replaced at 4 a.m. by an animatronic called Nightmare, who has a unique game over screen. As with previous games, a third star and secret code can be unlocked in this game, granting access to an extra night called 20/20/20/20 mode. On this night, the animatronics are set to their maximum difficulty level. Completing this unlocks the fourth star. The game also has unlockable content which includes galleries of the various animatronics and jumpscares and behind-the-scenes looks at the 3D modelling process for Fredbear and Foxy. The bonus menu also includes two minigames: Fun with Plushtrap and Fun with Balloon Boy; a cheats menu, and a challenges menu, which includes four challenges with stars to earn.

As in other entries in the series, the story of the game is revealed in interactive minigames playable between nights. For each of the minigames, the time frame of each game corresponds to one of the five nights, beginning with “5 days until the party”, up to “0 days until the party”.

Five Nights at Freddy’s 4 Android Game Plot

A series of minigames playable between nights tells the story of a young boy who lives in your bedroom. He thinks toys are his friends. Even before the release of Five Nights at Freddy’s 4, theories about the game abounded. Fans speculated who “The Purple Guy” was, what his motives were and what happened to him. The game addressed these questions by telling us a story through a series of minigames. One part of the story tells a young child being teased by friends and forced to confront his fears in a family restaurant by himself. Fans have found two hidden messages in this minigame: one that shows the purple guy putting someone into an animatronic suit and one that shows the date 1983 on a TV screen, strengthening the idea that this minigame is set in 1983.

In the sixth game, the boy cries at his birthday party, and a group of bullies wearing masks terrorize him. They lift him to Fredbear’s mouth for a kiss, which breaks its springlock system, causing it to close and crush his head. His brother and friends are horrified by the accident. The seventh game shows the boy in a black room surrounded by his plush toys. One of them apologizes to him, and another promises he’ll be put “back together”. They fade out one by one, and the faint sound of a heart monitor flatlining can be heard implying that the boy has died.

Throughout the game, if the screen is brightened, objects beside the bed are shown. If you look to the left of the plush lying on the bed, three objects appear: a bottle of pills, an IV drip, and a vase of flowers.

The “Nightmare” mode of the game concludes with an image of a padlocked metal trunk; if the player wiggles the padlocks, text appears stating, “Perhaps some things are best left forgotten, for now.” Creator Scott Cawthon has not stated what this trunk symbolizes.

Conclusion

Five Nights at Freddy’s 4 is a downloadable game where you are an employee who works the night shift from dusk to dawn. The goal of the game is to survive five nights at the restaurant, monitoring props and animatronics during the day and watching for any action during your shift.
