Fix PUBG Cannot Find MSVCP140.DLL Error [Solved]

  2. Now you need to type the following command there- “C: \WINDOWS\ system32>sfc /scannow.
  3. Once you type this command, you will have to wait for some time as it will start the scan.
  4. Once this is done, open the command prompt admin again and type “Dism /Online /Cleanup-Image /CheckHealth Dism /Online /Cleanup-Image /ScanHealth Dism /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth”
  5. Now once the scan is complete, restart your computer and you are all set.

Reinstall Software

The best way and the most simple one is to get rid of the corrupted software. Here is how you can do this –

  1. Here also you need to open the command prompt on your computer and then type “appwiz.cpl”.
  2. Once you enter the above mentioned command, it will open all the programs and features that are there on your computer.
  3. Now you need to search for PUBG which is causing the trouble and then click on it. It will automatically delete the problematic file from your device.
  4. Now reinstall PUBG and once the installation is done, restart the computer.

Check Windows Update

Here is another most common reason that might be causing the trouble that is outdated Windows. You need to check for the Windows update and to do that, follow these steps –

  1. Open command prompt from your device and there you need to type “Services.msc”
  2. After entering this command, it will start searching for Windows Update Services and Windows Installer that is running on your device. This will give you complete information about it.
  3. Once this is done, go to the Windows settings and from there open “Update and Security”.
  4. Now check for the update and in case you find a pending one, you need to update the system. It will automatically restart your system and you are all set now!
